Ritz Cracker Toffee Fudge is a delightful combination of sweet and salty. The buttery toffee layer pairs perfectly with the creamy chocolate fudge, and the Ritz crackers add a satisfying crunch. It's a simple and irresistible treat that's sure to be a hit with friends and family!
Ingredients: 1 sleeve Ritz crackers. 1 cup unsalted butter. 1 cup brown sugar. 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips. 1 cup sweetened condensed milk. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Instructions: Start by heating the oven to 350F 175C. Cover a 9x9-inch 23x23-cm baking pan with foil and spray it with cooking spray that doesn't stick. Put a single layer of Ritz crackers in the pan's bottom. Put the butter and brown sugar in a saucepan and set it over medium-low heat. Stir the mixture all the time until it boils. Do not stir it for two to three minutes while it boils. Take the pan off the heat and pour the mixture evenly over the Ritz crackers that are already in it. Put it in an oven that is already hot for 10 minutes. There should be bubbles in the toffee. Put the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk in a bowl that can go in the microwave. Every 30 seconds, stir the mixture in the microwave until it is smooth and well mixed. Add the vanilla extract to the chocolate mixture and mix it in. Spread the chocolate mixture out evenly on top of the hot toffee layer in the baking pan. Let the fudge cool for two hours at room temperature. Then, put it in the fridge for two more hours, or until it's set. Stick the foil under the fudge and use it to move it from the pan to a cutting board. Enjoy! Cut it into squares.
