HI QAR!!! surprisingly no, it's Wild actually. or at least that's the plan— my document is actually completely empty so I can't share like. a ton of information about this one (sorry).
basically the main idea was that after Wild joined the Chain, he would stay up, always on watch and generally not sleeping because he doesn't want to fall asleep in case the rest of them are secretly after him. as time goes on, it's more and more exaggerated, because, like......... he's sleep deprived. and it would end with a lot of comfort because I'm a sucker for hurt/comfort :3
ok. ok. so! this is my longfic idea!! I've been drafting up a prologue lately, which I am SUPER excited about, but it likely won't get posted until I have a better concept of the story
but, to vaguely summarize some of my current notes, apotheosis is a story about love and loss and family, but also pain and suffering. there will be quite a few dark topics I'll dive into, and sometimes you might hate a character for what they do but I promise there's always a reason for behavior.
and the title, apotheosis....... well, it's not meaningless. it's generally sky centric, but really everyone has important parts and ultimately it's a story about all of them
UUHHHHHH ANYWAYS! I'm going to stop myself before I go and spoiler it all. very excited about this idea, if you can't tell!

artifice!! so this is part of the Linked Company AU!! this is a much later chapter, so the extent of my plans are....... well. the document says "enemies: everything........." if that tells you anything.
since this is essentially one of the last chapters to be written, there's not a whole lot of plan already written. this whole AU has been mostly played by ear! the game updates constantly with more enemies and moons and stuff so it's difficult to plan too far ahead. still, be assured- they will all suffer <3

this is a new one!! I was in class this past week and we were talking about the Hero's Journey...... and well, apotheosis is such a nice word, don't you think? and such an interesting concept!!
currently, I'm planning on this one being a potential long(er)fic!! which I don't normally write, so this will be a unique challenge for me. sky centric!!
rather than a summary, I'll just define the title:
apotheosis
the perfect form or example of something : quintessence
the highest or best part of something : peak
elevation to divine status : deification
(also known as divinization or deification)
there's nothing written for this yet other than a scramble of thoughts and ideas. again, this is one I want to get a few other projects finished with before attempting this!!
while we've already met all the Links in the AU, this will be the introduction to Shadow, who is Four's roommate. he's some sort of art major (I can't remember off the top of my head and the character sheet is...... somewhere?)
anyway. right now, it's about 400 words of Shadow slaying in a dress while Four is super flustered about it. the main plot is them going to an art show together, starring some of Shadow's work!! they have a very particular style that I think will make perfect sense to everyone when this eventually gets published.
Linked University AU is unfortunately on a bit of a hiatus right now due to way too many projects (you saw the WIP list. you know). I'm planning on going back to it once I manage to get a few other projects written!!

Four uses any pronouns, Shadow uses they/them pronouns
Four did as asked, this time resting his hand against the bridge of Shadow's nose. He carefully drew the wing on her roommate's other eye, doing their best to make them identical.
Pulling away with a soft huff of breath, Four stared at Shadow. His roommate was now sporting two nearly identical wings, neatly framing each eye.
“Hmm…” Shadow hummed to themself, taking the eyeliner from Four. “That looks good,” they finally decided. “You’re a natural.” Shadow shot a sharp-toothed smile at the young engineer, eyes sparkling. They capped the eyeliner pen, setting it aside. “You should try it on yourself sometime.”
Four shook her head. “I… don’t know. I probably wouldn’t pull it off as well as you,” he admitted, rubbing the back of his neck. Pink flooded his cheeks as she avoided eye contact.
this one is about 600 words currently and definitely something I'm excited to finish!! another hyrule centric :3
hyrule meets the chain fic!! except he's essentially a starving, scared feral child. right now the only thing that happens is hyrule gets introduced to them and then he eats a hydromelon and also the rind. like a normal person. not much else has happened- again, not sure where I want to take it yet. it'll probably have a focus on helping rulie heal and learn that not everyone is super awful! some cute bonding mostly, overall a hurt/comfort fic.
I think about this WIP a lot. I always think I have more than I do. sad. but I'm excited to finish it someday!!
so, like touch starved the first, this one is hyrule centric!!
quick summary of what i have: hyrule has always viewed touch as a negative thing! however, the rest of the chain shows a lot of physical affection with each other. they respect his boundaries but that leads to him feeling left out. basically he's feeling social rejection because he can't be included in their group cuddles or anything like that.
again, not sure where i want to go with this one. at least it doesn't cut off midsentence like the first one!! I'll figure it out eventually.
