the thing about rivai is that his wedding day has him acting so so out of sorts for himself usually. he's generally a fiery mischiefmaker that runs around on ppl's roofs and shit. but he's so resigned to whats about happen that he's way less willing to argue (up until vaughn shows up) and less willing to run away from consequences in the invincible goofy teenager way. rivai suddenly "grew up" (in his mind) all at once because he was being faced with a life he desperately did not want but could not voice why and risk disappointing his father. taking blame for the crime of killing SOOOO MANY PEOPLE was genuinely to protect soris and shianni from any direct harm from the guards, but immediately agreeing to go with duncan was just another way of running

he doesn’t. he has a fear of open water. being in water deeper than his waist makes him anxious.

clean but bitten down instead of clipped

he was running from some teenagers with his sister and fell on his face, knocking out his two front teeth. one got swallowed, the other was shown to everyone in a mile radius with pride.

fried, scrambled, omelets, hard boiled, basically any way. just put them in his face. and don’t bang the table ranting about capitalism while he’s eating.

a little bit, on his sides, but he doesn’t laugh/squirm unless you try hard to make him laugh/squirm

snowing lightly but warm (like, 1*C warm, no wind)

hot showers, the hotter the better. rivai is kind of smelly. he smells like a sweaty man a lot because he’s like. always fighting something or doing chores. otherwise he smells vaguely like dust and dampness, like books stored in a basement too long.

i think i just answered that. dusty damp books stored in a basement too long. and/or vaguely like sweat.

if there’s reason to run he is GONE. angry guards? angry dad? angry shems? angry sister? bye rivai is long gone

he doesn’t cry that much. mostly at very emotional moments; weddings, deaths, etc. post-blight he cries sometimes while up at 3am after nightmares. it’s always quiet crying.

he can and it’s gross. give him a silver and he’ll burp the alphabet. give him three silvers and he’ll burp the alphabet in orlesian.
