■ HISTORY. ■
Joshua grew up as a second-generation Royal, his father was the president and like most children born into the club, he was expected to join the club the day they turn eighteen. Despite this expectation, his mother never wanted him to feel forced into joining. Every summer she would take him to Idaho where he would live with his aunt, work a part-time job, and be a normal teenager. As a kid, he always enjoyed his summers with his aunt, because although he knew he would belong to the club, it was nice to be known as Joshua Krongold and not get stared at, or need to worry about getting attacked. He especially enjoyed his summers in Idaho, since it meant seeing Bethany Douglas. She was a beautiful brunette who he continuously saw every summer since he was a kid. When they were teenagers it turned into more of a summer fling, he lost his virginity with her, and she was his first love, and his first heartbreak. In preparation for another fun-filled summer with her, he tried calling her though she never replied. His aunt told him that they moved and she didn’t have any other contact. She was gone and he was broken.
While living in New York, his father would include him and send him off to do club business like it was his part-time job. He remembers, his father making a deal with a friend that Josh and his friends would pretend to rob a social club, only to be involved in his first murder. Josh never told his mother about that night, since he knew she’d overreact or send him away somewhere. In his junior year of high school, he and a couple of other Royals wanted to make some extra cash without needing a part-time job. Without their parents knowing, they’d started to sell drugs on the side. Within three months they’d found themselves dealing much stronger substances. As the summer was approaching he really didn’t want to go to Idaho, not with a serious girlfriend and a secret yet successful business at home. His mother didn’t care and shipped him off anyway.
He’d been gone for all of two weeks before hearing that his girlfriend was in the hospital badly hurt. When he arrived back in New York, he found out her attack was related to his drug-dealing business, his Royals brothers told him it had to have been retaliation for shutting down over the summer. Little did he know this was the work of his own father who had found out about their secret business and chose Josh’s girlfriend to be his wake up call. It worked, Joshua decided from that moment he would never get involved with drugs ever again. He tried to push her away, he didn’t want her to ever get hurt again although to this day she’s stayed by his side no matter how hard he tried pushing her away. As his father got older it became obvious he couldn’t run the club anymore, which was when he took over. Since his new leadership, he believes he’s done a steady job and has kept the same trading, the same profit and nothing has changed between his or his father's leadings.
■ WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON? ■
Joshua has Royals of Purgatory in his blood, he is now the third generation to lead the club. Since the day he graduated high school he was all in with the Royals. Joshua was the exact replica of his father when a problem arises his first decision is always violence. He is a man who say things to be fair, a man for a man. His usual thought is ‘how do we even the score.’ he makes sure people pay for the wrongs they do. When Garrett started pushing for drugs to be a third source of income Joshua would always make sure the majority of the club was on his side when the votes would take place. He would do his hardest to shut it down every time. Now that he was starting to get old, he’d hope that his son, Christopher would take on the presidency, though his daughter, Jennifer seemed to be more interested. He wasn’t sure how he felt about his daughter taking over. He didn’t want his daughter to have to make the same decision he’s had.
■ KEEP THIS AWAY FROM YOUR ENEMIES ■
Joshua had made many decisions in his lifetime, most decisions the law wouldn’t agree with. Though a decision he has to live with was when in a time of high intensity. He made the call to eliminate one of his own members under proven suspicions that he was a rat. He couldn’t have known that not only was his member being set up, though his wife was actually in the car he’d shot up. To this day, he’s kept the fact that’s responsible for the death of Evan Alcott’s wife. At times it’s been hard watching how his daughters have been struggling, though he’s recently got himself into a helpful and beautiful distraction by the name of Sophie Rickards. Whom he keeps very distant and very secretive from his entire family.

■ Christopher Krongold: Christopher was his oldest son, and second to the VP.
■ Carson Woods: Carson is his second hand, the VP of the Royals. They’ve known each other since their rookie days and have been great friends for years. They think alike on almost every problem, which is why they work well together.
■ Jessica Douglas: She’s the long lost daughter he didn’t know he conceived at the age of 16.

They had cops on their payroll, they've committed many crimes with very few convictions and smaller gangs have stayed clear. There wasn’t a single local New Yorker who hadn’t heard the name Royals of Purgatory. Although in September, the club faced a major hit, five Royals members were prosecuted for the possession of illegal weapons and drug substances. Which was odd, since the Royals were specifically not involved with drugs. Within two days of the arrest, the club found out trusted member Garret "Tubbs" Miller had been recruiting some club members to start dealing drugs on the side. Royals President, Joshua Krongold immediately stripped Tubbs from the club, beat him half to death and left 3rd-degree burns where his club tattoo used to be.
Present Day
It's been almost 10 years since that event, and since the Royals have removed themselves from the public eye. No one ever expected to hear from Tubbs again, though Recently, Tubbs thought it was the right time to announce his homecoming with a club of his own. Within a few days, The Quantum of Devils successfully shut down the Ace of Clubs. Known locations for Royals members and in incarcerated another two Royals members in the process. With the right resources at their disposal, the Royals concluded who was behind this new club and it was evidently clear Garret Miller was back and ready to start a war.
