Attention Yugioh fandom! You have been waiting and wondering if or when Rivalshipping Week will happen in 2023.

I want to officially welcome any and all willing writers, artists, or fan content creators in general to the prompt list for 2023! Pick one, two, or whatever fits your vision for the week.

This year was built around the Seven-Part Story Structure with the rises and falls that come with plot, as well as internal conflict. This is to give the option of creating one coherent narrative if so desired. If that doesn't strike your fancy, you may do one independent piece each day. Tis the season for creativity!

Let's finish out 2023 with a bang and a little bit of everything that makes fan content so much fun!

A few days late to Rivalshipping Week’s Reunion prompt, but I’ve wanted an excuse to draw my “Yugi and Kaiba in their 40′s” designs for AGESSS

After falling out of contact for a couple decades, I simply think they will reconnect and get together in their middle age, after Kaiba is fresh off a divorce and Yugi is a quiet, successful indie game dev.

2. Two prompts will be provided each day! You can choose one or combine them however you like!

3.  Tag your work with the hashtag #RivalshippingWeek2021 and/or tag this account @ RivalshippingW (twitter) / @ rivalshipping-week (tumblr). Remember: The tag doesn’t have spacing in it!

4. Anything is allowed in works (drawings, comics, fanfics, headcanons, song recommendations, etc) but don’t forget to put NSFW and trigger warnings if necessary!

5. Please make your work strictly Rivalshipping, it means no polyship, unless it is set as Kaiba and/or Yugi’s past love. (For example: it is a Rivalshipping story with Atem as Kaiba’s past love / past!Prideship. This setting is allowed)

6. Repost of old works is allowed! You can also post the works after the event, it’s still welcome! Just keep in mind if it's posted after the event, this account won't be able to boost-promote the works
