Honestly, the Countryhumans fandom never ceases to amaze, even though it's not as popular as it used to be. I mean, a while ago I was looking at some posts about it on a profile, and in the middle of a paragraph about how the concept of a character representing an entire country should be understood, out of nowhere it said, "According to Immanuel Kant..." WHAT ON EARTH DID IMMANUEL KANT SAY ABOUT COUNTRYHUMANS?!

Re-reading the HoO books is so hilarious. I had forgotten how logical Octavian was. "Power hungry" and "paranoia" aside, he's essentially watched 3 praetors suddenly side with the Greeks within the span of 9 months.

Jason disappears and comes back with a Greek girlfriend. Percy was always Greek. Reyna decides to follow Annabeth's orders (breaking an important Legion law in the process) despite the Greeks firing on New Rome days ago.

Even the "harmless" Ambassador of Pluto was Greek all along.

Like, no wonder he goes crazy by the end. XD Even without the false promises from the gods, he's probably terrified that New Rome was going to fall. All the praetors abandoned New Rome whilst bending over backwards to protect Camp Half-Blood. XDDD
