Dear explorers, a quick housekeeping note is all. Finally, after years of smartphones on the surface, the rivcog tumblr site is compatible with the mobiles. Maybe. It’s certainly not perfect, or complete. This may still break on you device. But seems to function ok in firefox. The other pages (about/etc) are not up to speed yet, but at least all the good riven(esque) material can be explored with relative ease(hopefully). To all who may have happened upon this site over the years via mobile, and found yourself utterly lost and debilitated, my apologies for the decade long delay my friends.

Also curious about that thing. I really want to post those screenshots, but don’t think they want those public yet. Even untextured… they look fantastic.

Agreed! And just like that pretty picture of rocks a while ago, they don't look particularly photorealistic either - like a progression of the light stylization that characterized Uru, unsurprisingly - and for me, that's only a good thing.

They also look like very interesting places to explore, especially with the implicit Cyan guarantee that they make sense... as places.

This is an extraordinarily sweet comment, and I nearly cried when I read it. (In the tears of joy and appreciation way!) It's a heck of a lot of typing to get those done while the panel is going on, and because I'm so busy focusing on listening to the words, and watching what I'm typing, I wind up missing a lot of what's on the screen and the joy of the viewing experience. It's a sacrifice I don't mind making if the transcripts help people, but if nobody used them it'd feel like a waste. So I'm glad it isn't!
