Last time in Paris 4
Musée de la Mode, Pompiers fluviaux (firemen in the river), some bars, Louvre, etc. And some food in the cruiser, marinated shrimp with vegetables as an appetizer. Tender beef with mashed potatoes, topped with peas. Great time ! With a bottle of wine paired with each dish, it was a wonderful experience, and a delicious one, too.
Hallo Bunnies! Switzerland and Germany welcomed me with lots of rain, wind and cold. Rising rivers added a few bumps (literally) on the River Cruise. But She seems to have settled down with mostly overcast skies and crisp cold.
This trip has given me some beautiful memories and photos of lovely villages and the countryside of Germany. Old world Christmas markets take me back to the simpler times of my childhood. Tinseled trees, warm mulled wine (Glühwein), handmade ornaments, sweet treats, twinkling lights everywhere and the feeling of joy and community.
So I can mark the boxes (check check) on my bucket list and hope for a new year filled with more adventure and love.
I’ll share more pictures of Switzerland and Germany soon. Im headed to Luxembourg then Paris for 3 days to ring in NYE at the Eiffel Tower.
