Nguma-monen "Large Python" in the Lingala language (other possible names include: Ngakoula-ngou, Badigui, Diba, Songo, Mourou-ngou, Badigui, and the misidentification that it could be Mbielu-Mbielu-Mbielu due to having similar ridges on its back) A creature that resembles a prehistoric animal like the Mokele-mbembe and the Mbielu-Mbielu-Mbielu. The earliest sighting of a creature resembling the Nguma-monen was documented in 1934 by Lucien Blancou where he heard the testimonial of an old man who had seen the creature while fishing sometime in the 1890s. The old man only saw its neck which was estimated to be around 8 meters long. Lucien Blancou also reported seeing a similar creature in 1928. There were two sightings of the creature in 1961 and 1971 in the same area, called Dongu-Mataba, which is a river that connects to the Ubangi River in the Republic of the Congo. In the 1971 sighting a man named Joseph Ellis only saw the tail of the alleged creature which he estimated to be around 10 meters.
Altamaha-ha Originating from Muscogee legend, this river cryptid is said to roam the Altamaha River (and some areas around it) in Georgia, United States.
