I went on a mini hike and took a photo of river rapids and rifts. A beautiful and picturesque place. Near the river you always feel cool and you want to lie down and fall asleep for a second under this calm sound of water.

Late summer colors in our yard

Late summer colors are telling us that autumn is coming up soon. I took these photos a couple of days ago, using my iPhone. I was too lazy to set up the DSLR. I’m going to do a hiking/photo adventure to a couple of prairie preserves this week, if I can find a few hours in between the forecasted rain storms all week.
