Books and Basketball... Who Knew?
We spend so much time reading and talking about books that you would think we don’t have time for other hobbies and passions, but that’s not true at all! We enjoy reading, yes, but we also love being a part of the community. That’s why we love our partnership with the Niagara River Lions so much!
Did you know we are a proud sponsor of the River Lions? It’s okay if you didn’t know! We have been sponsoring this gifted team for 2 years now and we have to say, there’s nothing like (watching) a good game of basketball! With our partnership, the River Lions are able to go from school to school to talk to children in the community. We also sponsor the annual School Day Game where children from less fortunate schools get the chance to watch the River Lions play a game just for them. It’s a great time for everyone!
If you’re also a fan of basketball, you’ll especially enjoy the fact that the entire River Lions team will be stopping by the Book Outlet Store on Monday, March 12th from 3pm to 4pm for a signing! Plus, everyone that attends the signing will receive a 10 % off Book Outlet coupon to use that day! Yes, every member of the team will be in attendance, so this will be your chance to get signatures and ask those burning questions! How many times a week do they practice? What’s it like being 6 foot 8? We need to know, and so do you! We can’t wait to see you all at the store on March 12!
