To their closest friends, probably. For both of them, Salome is a priority, so she knows. Karen and Arthur guessed it. Moff was probably the one to lay down the big flashy arrow signs. Rest is all hush-hush. Their careers are at the moment in a really bright phase, and Alex doesn’t want to fuck up Matt’s or her career, so she wants to keep it a secret. Matt, on the other hand, wants to tell everyone, and since he can’t, he ends up wording it indirectly whenever anyone asks him about Alex.
PDAs are limited to brief glances and tentative touches, sometimes hugs- they have their own secret code made entirely of these touches. For instance if one has to say 'I love you', they brush the back of their hand with that of the other.
- Nicknames? Pet names? Any in-jokes?
World calls her Alex, her parents call her 'Lexie, some others call her Alexandra- Matt settles for Kingston. It's his name for her. Alex, on the other hand, is the only one allowed to call him Matthew. However, the way she stretches and pronounces 'Matt', by itself it sounds like a pet name.
She normally hates terms like baby, babe, sweetheart, but under certain circumstances, when he is feeling death on his door (read: hungover, or sick/feverish) she doesn't mind any of these terms. Otherwise, he just calls her 'love'. Alex, for her part, calls him 'darling'.
In-jokes are plenty. 'We had a chat', 'atoms and aliens'- Both have the habit of coming up with stupidest excuses to hide the truth they have blurted out. There is also the shared trait of over sharing things.
