    it was memorial day weekend, and that meant, it would be nothing but fun for them all.  the dates were something kai decided to dip his toes in, hoping he could meet someone new.  which he did.   he found himself meeting zeek, and now their adventures were off.  he was riding his bike, looking back to see the other.   “  not struggling, are you ??  ”  he chuckled.   “  want to make sure we get to see that sunset.  ”  @attackofthezeek​

Jason wasn’t so sure about this blind date thing, but even if his past experiences with those weren’t so great, maybe today would be an exception. The camp had its way of sending Jason into some unexpected new relationships, so why not try? 

He vaguely knew of Julian from around during their time there this year, but never actually managed to introduce himself. He seemed nice enough, and definitely had a cuteness Jason found appealing. It was Jason’s idea to go for a hike (because of course it was) and when they were done, he agreed to let Julian come up with another thing for them to do.

“You ever been this far out?” he asks the younger man, opening his water bottle for some much needed hydration. This was one of Jason’s favorite spots — he wasn’t even sure if this was technically the camp ground, it was that desolate on most days. But it was surely a great spot to get to know someone. “I dunno about you, but I love a good hike. Exploring nature. All that stuff.”
