        despite  their  last  conversation  ,  alanna’s  making  her  way   to  river’s  apartment .  after  reading  the  post  about  vera  ,  she   felt  like  she  needed  to  check  on  him  ,  at  least  to  just  make  sure  he’s  okay .  when  they  briefly  texted  half  an  hour  ago  ,  she  just  got  the  sense  that  he  wasn’t  alright .   it  might  be  a  bad  idea ,  but  her  conscious  is  directing  her  to  him  .  the  blonde  pulls  her  car  into  his  driveway ,  turning  it  off  &  hopping  out  , throwing  her  purse  over  her  shoulder  as  she  did  so . the  blonde  brings  her  knuckles  up  to  the  door ,  knocking  lightly   before  she  moves  to  open  the  already  unlocked  door  ,  stepping  inside  &   letting  it  fall  shut  afterwards .  ‘  river ,  where  are  you ? ’

the  holiday  in  florence  felt  like  it  was  flying  by  ,  she  almost  felt  like  she  hadn’t  done  much  besides  drink  all  day  since  she  arrived  ,   and  the  blonde  felt  like  exploring  the  city  today  , which  is   how  she  ends  up  in  the  city  square  .   she  looked  down   at  her  shoes   as  she  walked  ,  smoothing   down  her  summer  dress  before   she  felt   herself   colliding  with  another   body  &  the  blonde  steps   back   to  catch  her  balance  before  looking  up  at  the   other  person  .  river   was  the  absolute  last  face  she   expected  to   see  in  this  moment  ,   it  shows  when  her   brows  raise  slightly .  ‘  river  ,  sorry  .   ’   she  speaks   softly  .  alanna  hesitates   before  speaking  again   .   ‘  i  didn’t   know  you  were  here  .  ’
