ARIGHT SAY HELLO TO HALF FIRE FAERIE HALF HUMAN MESS STEPHEN OWENSON, 42.

1: What’s your OC’s biggest insecurity and how would they react if someone pointed it out to them? Pre TROR Stephen was a pretty reasonable guy. His biggest insecurity then was that he didn't have a life, not even family, which he'd brush off gruffly (he had a shitty family and he's aromantic, there's no way he'd ever want his own wide and kids). And then, post TROR it's that he's traumatized and broken beyond fixing point and that he's useless now, especially to his nephew. The mere suggestion of it brings on an acerbic reply about how the person speaking doesn't know shit.

2: If your OC wants to buy a firearm, what it might be for? Ha! Post TROR Stephen HAS a gun. A pistol he originally bought for suicide purposes. He got rid of that later on but he replaced it with a shotgun for unwelcome Fey intruders.

3: Does your OC behave differently around different people, if so with whom and how? He puts on the "assertive and professional but if it came to it he will fight you" face at work. Puts him at odds with some coworkers, but he makes it clear it almost never comes to fighting. He's just, confident, has direction, take-charge. Around his family and closer friends he's rather more friendly; he may be a bit more sarcastic at times but he tries his best to steer the conversation to more amiable topics. He makes bad dad jokes. He's more open to trying new things. He's more affectionate and willing to get cheesy. However, he will also be more brutally honest, which yeah, kind of hurts on Irvine's side.

4: Would your OC want to involve themselves in humanitarian work ? If yes, then for what? If not, then why not? Yes indeed. Stephen Owenson would work for humanitarian causes. The real question is for what. I think he'd do good in environmental work; Remy helps him a lot to be very conscious of the environment. When your protégé is part dryad, you kinda get it.

5: How would your OC generally react to someone being verbally abusive towards them for no apparent reason? Alright I'll let you in on a little secret. He did get that often as a child, and to this day he still takes it from his dad without a word. With anyone else, however, once it gets out of line, he lashes back with something really hurtful. He really loses his shit.

6: Does your OC have a realistic image of their own intelligence? Pretty much. He knows he can be a good leader and micromanage well but he also knows his flaws very well.

7: Does your OC have any irrational phobias? Irrational, I think not.

8: How is/was your OC’s relationship with their parents? HAHAHAHA oh god. Wow. He was born from an affair his dad had with a hooker. A faerie hooker at that. Friction was a given. The strange thing is the abuse was from his dad's side, not his stepmother. She was actually very kind to him and he loved her very much. His dad was an outright dick. He was an alcoholic and an abusive prick that called him things and hit him often. It lessened with age but Stephen still remembers it.

9: Does your OC feel a pressure to achieve or are they content and calm with doing what they can at the moment? Stephen's got a pretty well-built career. After TROR the only pressure is to stay alive without burning his place down.

10: Does your OC guard their emotions by being tough? Yes. The "assertive but will kick you ass" front as explained before.
