We recently had to take a trip back East to be with family and while there I figured I would at least get to sample some regional beers. You know, the stuff that you don't get to drink everyday cause you have absolutely never heard of it before. Well of the various beers I did get to sample, this one was absolutely the best. We bought a sixer from this Grocery Store that had the most amazing mind-blowing beer selection that rivaled anything you would see here in San Francisco. Anyways we ended up going back two or three times to grab more of these Hop Bombers because they were so good. (at least compared to everything else we tried, reviews to come). For a Pale Ale, it was a little darker than usual. Being named "Hop Bomber" I was a bit disappointed that it's malt characteristics took the lead role. However, incorrect name aside, it was still a very good beer. One that I would definitely have in my rotation if it was sold out west.
