A USWNT game yesterday and NWHL action today, we are being gifted!
I went to sleep last night with all the people in the world being friends and happy because of Tobin’s wise use of Instagram. I wake up today and I see Thorns vs Royals because of the confirmation of the trade? What has gone wrong in the meantime? I love Thorns more than many of my relatives and I want to see them win as they deserve, but I like Royals too and I’m happy if they’re building such a competitive team, especially because Christen surely deserves to play in a great team that conquers a spot in the playoff! I might be relatively new in the WoSo world and I think there’s actually a good rivalry between the teams but it’s something that ends when the whistle blows, even last year, after all the chaos, Tobin & ARod talked it out and everything seemed pretty fine. And it couldn’t be otherwise, Tobin, Chris, Lindsey, Becky, ARod, AD, Kelley, Kling, they all have history, friendships that last for years, why supporters can’t mirror this mutual respect that we actually SEE on the field among the players of our own teams? The unacceptable AD’s episode came from one idiot, not from all Royals fans! And when Riveters booed a rival, they did in a simply sportive manner, they’re all about respect and inclusion, everybody knows that! Actually, the only thing I care about right now is for the NWSL to start as soon as possible just to enjoy all these renewed and reinforced teams that will only make the league more fun and competitive! All except the Courage, I don’t care about them, they’re the enemy! (Kidding, kidding, I love some of their players ... but I really don’t like the team!)
