“Well, it was a big change, going from a backwater planet to a metropolis of sorts, and the fact that Riz lived in a huge Imperial complex didn’t help either cause I couldn’t exactly crash in a room filled with Imps. But, hey, living on the streets comes naturally, though the climate was a huge change, mainly the rain, and sicknesses I’ve never heard of before - some of which I’ve experienced firsthand...Aside from that though, it’s fun! Getting to explore downtown, con meet new people and what-not, though I could do with fewer Imperials. Riz is the only good Imp I’ve ever met.

Amusing stories huh? Well, I will say Riz finding out I had followed him would’ve been hilarious aside from the fact that I was dying of a cough and fever. His reaction to me joining the Rebellion was quite amusing...until he blew up at me. Over protective brothers, amirite? Oh and Mrs. Delrio’s reaction whenever I move her plants is the BEST. I suppose I should’ve mess with her when she pretty much nursed me back to health when Riz couldn’t and lets me stay at her place for so cheep, but if you saw her face you’d understand why I do it. Besides, she can’t stay too mad at me, she loves my spicy curry soup wayy too much, as do her customers. I know they only stay at her little inn because I help with the cooking. Facts of life right there.”

I tried to design my new OC bbys Rizco and Alekev! I’m not sure if I’m 100% satisfied with their designs, but I’m pretty happy with them as a first try! I low key based Rizco off of Anthony Dale and Alekev off of Zero from Holes!

Thank you to to everyone who has shown interest in these bbys! (and all of my other OCs too!) It just makes me so happy!

Haha, well a few people liked my post or messaged me so I guess I’ll just post what I have so far here?

They are both Star Wars OCs living in the time of the Empire/Rebellion (though if I developed the story they could possibly be part of their own universe?). One of them is older and works for the Empire, he acts pretty strict, but he does have a softer side. His family doesn't really like the Empire, so they weren't very happy when he started training to become an officer. His brother always supported him but then he died in an accident. He lives on his own and usually patrols the streets (I haven’t figured out his exact rank, I’m thinking an officer of some sort maybe? But one that’s pretty low on the spectrum of power). He likes his job, and has friends but no one really close, most soldiers don’t really have close friends. I’m thinking maybe he isn’t that great with a gun or in combat, thus his lower rank but...who knows. He doesn’t really like hurting people, he just follows orders but tries to find loopholes if he’s supposed to hurt innocent people. 

The other character reminds the soldier of his brother, this why he kind of cuts the kid some slack. The kid is an orphan who is kind of a free spirit. He really hates the Empire and authority, and he is constantly inning away from the orphanage because of that. He also runs because at this orphanage, kids are only adopted or taken care of by strict Imperials who kind of indoctrinate the kids to Imperial ways of thinking and try to sap all of the individuality out of them. The kid hates that and runs away and tries to live on his own because there is no way he is living with some stuck up, brainwashed Imps. 

I have a whole little plot of how the two meet, but that would take a while to type out...and I still need to hammer out some stuff. But eventually the soldier kind of helps the kid out and at one point he even leaves the Empire’s service to take care of the kid. They are kind of like brothers as time goes one, teasing each other and what not but deep down really caring about each other. (they probably have annoying nicknames for each other and say “I hate you” as a form of endearment....I’m not even kidding..xD)

Aside from names, I’m not sure what they look like. I imagine the kid with unruly hair, and have played with the idea of the kid being mixed race and the soldier being Asian...but I don’t know for sure...sorry for the long rant there haha, just getting my thoughts out on paper...or screen? xD

Headcanon that the kid and the officer accidentally adopt a loth cat together

OH MY GOSH YES! I NEED IT! And before answering this ask I decided to settle on some names for them finally! The soldier is Rizco Sorotai and the kid is Alekev (still figuring out if I want him to have a last name or not and if so what...maybe Allzac...*flops*)

I just imagine Rizco walking into the house one day and freezing as he sees a Loth Cat curled up on the couch. And he just yells the Alekev’s name and he’s just like, “What’s up?”

“There is a CAT on the COUCH”

“Yeah, that’s Kipper, I found him and he followed me home.”

Rizco’s eye twitches, “And you just thought that he could stay?”

Alekev shrugs. “He’s harmless, he’s just a cat.”

Rizco “.....”

Alekev grins, "So he can stay?”

“No!”

But then Alekev keeps feeding the cat and it keeps following him home (he lets him in after Rizco goes to bed) and eventually Rizco is resigned to let Kipper stay.

Alek is actually a really good cook. He helped his mom cook when he was little and he loved it, he always found a way to make even scraps taste semi-okay, so when he starts hanging out with Riz, he is actually able to make like…better food. And once Riz tastes it going back to ration sticks is torture haha xD

OC Laundry List Description Tag

I was tagged by @captaingondor for my boi Rizco

Rules: Thank the person who tagged you and offer them your first born child. (You know you’ve been dying to write down what this character looks like for ages, so it’s totally worth it.) Describe your character down to the golden flecks in their eyes and the scar behind their knee. Then tag all your writerly friends and prepare to raise a gaggle of their firstborns.

Okay first, I’d like to say I haven’t thought a TON about what Riz looks like, so this might be a little....rough and short but here it goes!

If Riz lived in our world, he’d be Asian, I don’t know which nationality specifically but I’m leaning towards Japanese or Korean. His skin is a little darker, but not much (Alek’s skin is darker than his for sure), and his face is a little tanner than the rest of his body as he is normally wearing a full uniform (though his face doesn’t always get a tan either cause he does had a helmet he has to wear fairly often). 

He’s pretty fit, because he kind of has to be to be an Imperial officer, but he doesn’t look overly so, when he’s in his uniform, he just looks kind of average, and he like never wears tank tops so you don’t really notice that he’s that fit unless you have to fight him in hand to hand combat. His chest is a little wider, but it’s not too noticeable. Height wise, he’s around 6′2 or so.

His hair is black and it’s shorter, but it’s not a buzz cut, he still has enough to style a little, though he normally just parts it on the right side and swipe it to the side, though that tends to vanish when he wears a helmet/hat - then the helmet hair abounds, but he pulls it off okay. His eyes are dark brown, but not quite that almost black-looking brown. 

Clothing wise, he can’t really express himself, and he’s okay with that. On his off hours, he just wears simple whites or blacks, but after Alek kind of hangs around him, he gets a little more open to other colors, though he still goes simple. However, he would 100% wear an ugly Christmas sweater, like Alek gets him one as a joke and he wears it and goes one further and makes Alek wear one too haha xD

9. What is your favorite platonic relationship between your OCs?

Oooo, probably Riz and Alek or Kor and Cy (I still need to figure out their names...cause Kor’s name definitely needs to change xD), which is funny cause they are both brother type relationships, though neither of them are related by blood. I guess I just love the found family trope and they both fill that very well...xD

16. Which OCs don’t know each other, but would get along great if they did?

Hmmm, Llira and Sage (a new OC I haven’t posted about yet). They both love to dress up and Llira loves to play with her hairstyle so in a modern AU she would be like the hair and makeup guru and Sage already is suuuper talented at both. They’d probably conspire to give their friends make overs haha xD

OC facts: Rinnyx is the youngest of five brothers (who all want to look out for him, but also say hello with friendly punches)

Llira has a BUNCH of siblings, I haven’t even decided how many siblings she does have, though a lot if not all of them are adopted. Despite that, they all keep an eye out for each other, though there is a fair amount of teasing between them.

Another one too just because...

Alek doesn’t have any blood brothers, however, he does have an older sister. When they were younger, they got along okay, but after their parents were killed and they were taken to the orphanage, they started becoming distant. This was mainly due to his sister accepting the Empire’s morals very quickly, whereas Alek stuck to his parent’s morals and resisted the Empire. Thankfully though, he does end up with Rizo, who becomes the sibling his sister hasn’t been for years.
