why my tumblr seems so dead? i dont even know what to do about it. i remember my posts getting more interaction before. i feel like im talking to a wall here idk

Eh best way I can explain it is, Tumblr is the place for YOU.

getting an audience isnt the goal its a side effect

So do what you want post what ever, comment reblog.

Best advice also REBLOG as many things as you want interactions, Likes and comments dont get as much attention.

i know that getting audience isnt the goal, and thats ok, but i dont understand why my posts seem to be getting less and less interactions (what i did??)

reblogs are still a bit confusing to me, i dont understand whether the likes and other reblogs actually stay with the reblog or not. if i delete a reblog of one of my posts, do i lose all the interaction? or they go to the original post? or idk (i delete my reblogs often because otherwise my profile ends up with the same post five times in a row, well i dont understand tumblr yet)

also reblog others too much wont that make my profile a mess? to other people find my stuff

i think ill keep commissions for sketches and finished art closed for a while. i feel like my art style has changed a lot when i work on personal art or college projects, but not for commissions, because im afraid of doing something different the usually, especially for recurring commissioner

i feel that some of the sketches or finished artworks i did no longer resemble me, they do not appear to be something i would draw. i do not think they are ugly, but im uncomfortable that they dont look like my normal art. so, for now will only leave doodle and experimental pages commissions open

(i will only keep sketch and finished commissions open for frequent commissioners who dont mind the change in artstyle. after all, i will need new artwork to put as examples on my page)

📌about my commissions:

big commissions will remain closed until i finish all the pending experimental pages. my health issues kept me from getting a lot of things done. so ill only be accepting only doodle commissions until i finished everything

my “algorithm” here is so weird i cant believe that at one point my posts used to get over 300 400 500 likes. i have been happy with 50 lately
