so this live action movie. potential live action movie. what should it be??

i think an option is basically. they should co-opt the four pilot episodes and focus on the core four ninja & their journey on becoming a team- and maybe nya is a ninja from the get-go and she doesn’t get garma-napped so we can focus on the race against time with the golden weapons… and also a race to find the person who can activate them: the mythologized green ninja.

i think the ninja recover the weapons but don’t find this ninja in time- but still have a run-in with lloyd separately and don’t know the truth about him. garmadon finds and retrieve lloyd and it’s revealed that the darn kid they stopped earlier is the only one who can activate their weapons and beat garm.

lloyd ends up going against his father for whatever reason and activate the weapons when the ninja have proper possession of them, and together they beat big bad garmadon and the movie ends with them starting to train lloyd as they were trained.

or. perhaps the better option: no lloyd at all, with basically the same plot but no activation, since the weapons should be activated via the ninja’s individual elemental connection. i think the stronger choice for a two hour movie honestly has to be developing the five (nya included idt she should be kidnapped the whole dang movie bruh) main characters as individuals and as a team dynamic. and i do think lloyd threw a wrench into that when he got aged up and properly trained, so idt we have time for that wrench in a two hour time limit. ninjago is power rangers and it’s gotta be about the Team.

if it makes a better movie to not include lloyd? dude like. i’m all for it. i’d rather it be a better movie than just Have lloyd in it. personally.

also i think zane should know he’s a robot the whole time and has been hiding it from the team until his robot skills become exclusively necessary
