it’s tragic really. they could have been something great. ah but time really wasn’t on their side. no, maybe even time couldn’t have made it work.
there is a saying. about soulmates. but not the soulmate who you are to spend the rest of your life not. no, not that soulmate. this is but a soulmate who could have been in another life.
a lost mate, perhaps. someone who would have been the best match for you should you have met in a differ- -ent timeline. lost mates are so tragically beautiful.
