"I'm taking Jolie for a walk now!" Minhyuk called, waving to his co-worker. He had his coat zipped all the way up to his chin, a large Samoyed at his side, eagerly awaiting her trip to the park. She'd been rather excitable all day, so a walk was certainly necessary. Despite the chilly weather, she'd be perfectly comfortable due to her thick, fluffy coat. Jolie's tail wagged and her tail lolled out the side of her mouth, body almost vibrating in anticipation. Minhyuk laughed. "Alright, alright, let's go."

The walk to the park wasn't long, or at least, it wasn't supposed to be. Jolie was easily distracted, apparently, stretching a ten minute walk into a now thirty minute walk and counting. She'd stop to greet people, stop to sniff at telephone poles, and stop for the sake of sightseeing. Minhyuk didn't mind all that much; she was in a brand new area, and dogs tended to thoroughly inspect unfamiliar places. "Everything is so new and exciting for you here, isn't it?" he said softly, smiling down at the dog. He reached down and ruffled the fur on her head.

Another ten minutes passed by and Minhyuk and Jolie were still roaming the streets. Another dog had caught her eye, barking happily and futilely attempting to drag Minhyuk over. It was clear that Jolie's excitement intimidated the other dog, a much smaller breed, and although Minhyuk wouldn't mind her meeting one of the neighbourhood dogs, he knew better to play on the safer side. Giving her lead a gentle tug, he pulled her attention back onto their walk, continuing down the street. The park wasn't far now; as long as Jolie refrains from wandering off track, they'd be there within five minutes.

It's been a long time since Taehyung had been to the post office that he almost forgot when the blackout dates were. He had a package to be sent to a friend’s relative, who asked Taehyung to deliver in his stead as a favor. The male had every reason to decline, but it was the same person who had given him the opportunity to work during the break when he needed money the most, so he allowed himself to swallow down whatever he has to and comply to his request. Besides, he has his own letter to deliver. One addressed to the hospital where the old man is confined to, along with the monthly payment for his confinement. Even with the struggle, never once had Taehyung thought life would’ve been better if his salary was spent on himself and his apartment rather than having two-thirds of it sent to the hospital. Not once. Taehyung sighed, breath visible due to the low temperature, and made his way down the short steps of the entrance to the closed office. What is he to do now? Without a destination in mind, he allowed his feet to drag him to whatever direction it leads him, the package tucked between his side and left arm whilst he messages his friend using his phone with his free hand.
