@rkniines plotted out thing;
the revolution did not go quite as planned. despite the---- somewhat peaceful approach, humans still refused to see their kind as equal. negotiations were shoved aside in favor of trying to hunt down every single deviant there was, before anything was set into motion. public opinion varied, though there’s little that could be done, when the humans had the upper hand there.
part of which was connor’s fault. if not all of it.
he had led them there. he had led them to jericho--- blindly following his programming up until that point when something broke free inside of him. he was deviant. except it was already too late, the old jericho blown to pieces in order to save any last remaining androids, before they could be taken down. needless to say, the loss was still great.
the remaining androids went into hiding and despite markus’ acceptance, even with what connor had done--- he had decided to leave. leave new jericho to rebuild itself in case his programming would spark him to do anything else. it was better that way. safer for everyone. especially once news of another deviant hunter taking down androids one by one, faster--- more efficiently than connor ever had arrised.
cyberlife just couldn’t leave them be, could they?
despite the frightening pieces of information connor had been keeping up with while on the move--- he seemed to be ahead of the deviant hunter. seemed. it was easy to keep a low profile, after all. designed to take in the smallest of details, he could easily determine where to head next--- optimizing his chance to stay hidden, even if anything were to catch up to him.
luckily enough, as he got closer to the riverside, it hadn’t. yet. hopefully he could make it across without it.
