RKO Pictures was one of the big 5 movie studios back in the golden age of cinema. You may recognize it's famous logo (the radio tower) from the original King Kong (1933) or Citizen Kane (1941). The cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) also features the logo as an homage. The studio made Katharine Hepburn a star and she was their biggest name even though the studio had a lot of famous contract actors in it's stables.
