We really need to bring back dvds. Like I want to own a copy of my favorite movies that I can display on the shelf and watch whenever I want regardless of if it’s on a streaming service.

scooby doo relics pt. 2
hello lovelies! i had made another post recalling briefly some scooby doo merch from my childhood so now i wanted to take a more careful look over the “Scooby Doo Where Are You” DVD set. It contains the 1st and the 2nd seasons of the show together with a beautiful cover art (the titles are all in portuguese cause i’m brazilian)
As you can see, the corners are pretty worn from use, there’s some scotch tape holding the DVD case and one of the DVDs is actually “Aloha, Scooby Doo” because i lent one of the DVDs to someone (to whom i don’t even remember anymore) and they never returned it lmao
Also there used to be a hard cover for the DVD set but it also deteriorated with time (this DVD set has almost 20 years i think, so it’s something to be expected to happen)
oh and if anyone is wondering “se não fosse por aqueles garotos intrometidos” translates to “if it weren’t for those meddling kids”
I finally got a dvd of Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge!! :)))

Even on vacation at my dad's a state over I receive impulse purchases in the mail, but I'm very happy with this one. Wanted it on BluRay and willing to pay the extra costs, but no such release so I got the entire series for less than ten bucks on DVD. Hilarious, strange, metaphysical, touching, philosophically relevant. This show lasted one season but has effect on my every living day, I think of it constantly and quote it to people who have never seen it more than they ever could know.
This single season is Milch's masterpiece and the greatest tragedy known to TV short on Twin Peaks lasting just 2 seasons.
