hell is heaven on earth
@rmadrianne
the night is dragging on—jongin checks his phone and the led screen screams 22:33 at him. it’s only been half an hour, god help him. he’s essentially lost sight of every person he knows and an incoming tide of boisterous first years are causing chaos in the only room that resembled anything close to peace in the mansion. even above the chatter, there’s a booming voice filling the hallway outside, an alpha no doubt, asking for the freshmen to make way, idiots! three alphas barge their way into the room, eyes scanning the crowd for their next pick and prey. who’s the lucky fella ready for seven minutes in heaven?!
as hard as jongin tries to blend into the background, the bulkiest of the alphas smirk when his eyes land on jongin’s lone form standing in the corner. without warning, the alpha dashes and lunges for him, circling jongin’s midsection with incredibly unnecessary strength. in a moment, jongin is slung over the alpha’s broad shoulder, hauled off as if he weighed nothing—out of the room, down the hall, around a corner. the drunken ramblings of his abductors and the unsympathetic laughter from those that watch the struggling jaeger captain fill his ears. in such a short time, there’s nothing he can do; the use of powers during a party is frowned up, especially against an alpha in their own house. the kidnapping results in him being thrown into a closet like a rag doll, his fall only cushioned by a barrier of winter coats and a pile of dirty sneakers.
once the door is slammed shut, a lock slides into place with a click and the noise dies into the background. all the laughter, shouting, and music is muffled as he struggles to his feet. it isn’t until he’s standing straight again that he notices the stranger trapped in with him.
