chi chi’s shocked at this information, mostly because she wrote those when gohan was a baby and it was on and off throughout her life---the same for goten. for some reason, when she died (for real, this time, at the ripe age of 66 due to a terminal heart disease) she didn’t think that they would read or keep all of the letters.
in her mind, gohan, and goten, had so much more going for them, that perhaps they’d read a few, but...
she smiled softly at her son, it’s a bittersweet reunion, to see your son in the afterlife. it’s been....well, she doesn’t know how long, but she knows she appears younger than gohan had ever seen her. she reaches out to touch him, to stroke his face just like she did when he was young and says;
“you were always such a sweet boy, gohan.”
