I don't know :( I really hope this is just people trying to stir up trouble and nothing actually serious. It makes me really uncomfortable how many people found it funny and joked about it though :/

hi! sorry for the probably stupid question but im not very tech savvy and i was wondering how you got your linking book links sidebar because its amazing!! and i want to do the same thing (if thats ok!) also, this is my fav myst blog and it makes me happy to see yall on my dash everyday :)
Hey, thanks, that’s not a stupid question at all!
First, the bookshelf on the sidebar (which quietly gained 4 new books the other day, btw!) wouldn’t be possible at all without the sprites of the shelves and books themselves, and they were all made by AMCAlmaron, specifically for other Myst fans to make their own bookshelves with! All I really did was play a long and tedious game of copy-and-paste shuffleboard to adjust the size of the shelves and fill them with books. The final step was to map the links I needed to specific co-ordinates on the image, as opposed to just linking the image itself, which is really best explained by simply trying it out yourself (read: my explanation would probably suck, haha), so here’s a good place to start.
