Does Dragon Warrior got a new name?

Yes and no. No, because it's not part of CoG's Dragon Racer whatsoever so it's not like "oh, it's the sequel but with a new name." Yes, because it is being redone, like that spinoff that no one wanted by Disney. It's literally just called Riders of Abauruth and as far as I remember will just be one book separated in two large parts.

the post about the roa rewrite mentions a summary -- now that the survey form is closed, is the summary posted anywhere?

Probably, though I never really did a summary. Am I going to dig around to find it, naw.

In fact, I'll just copy and paste the summary from the survey:

Summary

The life of an orphaned street racer has always been a simple one. Wake up, survive, race. Is Dragon Warrior not cancelled anymore? Haven't looked at the tumblr in a while and it says the HG edition is cancelled but it also says its not yet getting worked on? Did it get revived?

That's not the full explanation I believe I did but it's enough for you to get a picture of what I said.

Dragon Warrior is canceled though. That hasn't changed. Riders of Abauruth and the world is going to be rewritten.

Hi! This isn't really a question so feel free to ignore this but I just wanted to come to say how happy I am to see the direction you're taking with Riders of Abauruth. Dragon Racer was literally the first interactive story I ever read, the one who make me discover IF's and fall in love with this storys (and dragons!) and all your other works. It opened up so many doors and make me discover so many new things that im forever grateful for! I know right know is only just starting to take shape but im always excited to wait and see your wonderful work with this storys

I don't ignore any ask. They live here in the inbox with me. (That one person who sent their SoS character to me, yea I still got it. Love reading it lol)

Hello! Just finished TOA for the first time and LOVED it!! Ruben's route was soooo good! I'm just curious if there is a way for MC to tell Ruben specifically about the SA from L? I know it's heavily implied that Ruben knows, but I was unsure if I missed my opportunity to actually say it out loud to him?? Thank you!

There is, because I remember writing it and I believe it's in Chapter 5 or 6 though it may depend on whether you end up arguing with him further and pissing him off or if you're on his Mindful Disposition route. I'm not sure about that.

Hello, I apologize if it was asked already, is just that I couldn't find it, but how will Dragon Warrior work? Will we have the same ROs or they're gonna be new ones? And will our character from DR be there or we'll create a new version of them/whole new character?

So, I'm going to assume you're talking about RoA as Dragon Warrior, the sequel to Dragon Racer, has been canceled for a while now.

RoA has the same characters and RO's, some of them play different positions and are different species since they've been moved into my Jiwenia world but the MC is not the same as the previous series. You'll be creating an entirely new character with new motivations, skills, etc.

But in all serious, I meant as both a species swap (Sydero and Rabim) as well as a storywise swap (if Sydero didn’t turn her back, then what would make Rahim fight her and be found by Roe?)

Another question, if you were to ever rewrite ROA, would you permanently kill off Allison or would she be like Chris and have a chance to be saved?

Nothing. If Syd was angelic that means she would be the one that was accepted and Rahim would be excluded. Thing is though, Syd due to personality wouldn't ever feel like "the chosen one" and even if she couldn't keep the family together, would protect Rahim. So the story would shift tremendously cos they would have never fought in the first place, meaning they would have never landed where they did before Roe found Syd.

And no, Allison doesn't start with Ch, so therefore she is exempt from the Ch Law. She'll be kill-able the old fashion way, the reader/you fuck up and get her killed, otherwise she can live a happy life.
