That one "Dude why did that siren turn into me is there something you wanna say" meme except it's Roe asking that to the Superstition RO's (how are they gonna bull their way around that)

Chris: If it's a female Roe then Chris is just gonna shrug and be like "you're attractive, sue me." If it's a guy or nonbinary then Chris isn't there, he disappeared the minute Roe said "why did that."

Sydero: "I think I should be applauded for how much I've restrained myself from flirting with you. The fuck do you mean "why did that siren turn into you," it's clear why."

Zillah: "Because it wanted to annoy me. I don't know." *he's stuttering the entire time, give him a moment, he's trying*

Rahim: "I find you attractive. So it turned into you. It's a siren, ironically it doesn't do anything but skim the surface."

Amari: "I may have a tiny itty bitty, large, crush on you."

Chanara: "Because it wanted to annoy me. I don't know." *she is dead-panning. Don't give her a moment, she's not trying.*

I've been wondering this for a while but what are the RO's in Superstition's ideal person, and I don't mean Roe (Roe is catching strays I'm sorry 😞 but tbh I think their attraction to Roe if any is mainly bc on convenience but I love our main character I swear-).

I mean what characteristics in a person do they subconsciously get drawn to? 🤔

I agree with you with some of them, but not all.

Sydero: Not convenience at all. Honestly, one can argue that Roe ends up being her soulmate because they're the only one she opens up to. I guess you can say "oh but if someone else" but no, like she would've killed anyone else. Roe being what they are is one of the reasons Roe ends up able to squirm their way deeper into Syd's life. (Don't want to say too much, it's a new spoiler). Syd doesn't have a type though, I don't wanna say Roe is her ideal but they are.

Zillah: Another non-convenience, as the whole irony of Zillah being terrified of death and falling in love with it/them is there. Zillah is like Syd, there's no ideal because he hasn't needed to worry/think of an ideal. He's a shade, there is no ideal person for him.

Amari: Kinda in the middle. She does have a type and it's someone who is very much the "knight in shining armor" come forth to save her. I love my girl but she has a very immature look on romance. But at the same time, she doesn't need that. You can go either way with her in story of course (friend/rival path). Roe ends up being what she's always dreamed of or what she needs.

Chanara: In the middle too. Like Zillah, she wasn't looking for someone nor did she care about her "ideal" type anymore. She was dead and the dead don't have time for romance. So, yea it is convenient that Roe is what they are but also bugging Chanara with romance as much as they do is what brings that side of her back to life.

Hilarious that these two, who can get together, are the definitely convenience ones.

Chris: Cookie-cutter romance. Like basic. Wants someone with enough hobbies in common, someone whose pretty upbeat and optimistic and just ready to tackle and explore life. He wants a family one day and to grow gray and old. Roe I can say is convenient here but also Chris has a crush on F!Roe since freshman year. Yes, you can slot someone else in that he ends up being friends with though as well.

Rahim: Wants to get as far away from the supernatural with his partner as possible so yea, 100% convenient here. He wants to fall in love with a human. He wants to be human himself to feel all the things they feel and actually grow old and die. He likes those that challenge him and don't really care about the bigger picture, more so the smaller one that's right in front of them. He wants that person who comes home and is just happy to see him with mundane issues.

How would the superstition ROs react to Roe having a pet rock?

Chris: "Whatever makes you happy." He's not about to say anything as long as you don't ask him to walk it or something.

Sydero: *she's twitching as she tries her hardest not to chuck it as far as possible and say that she taught it to fly*

Zillah: *staring between you and the rock* "Oh, that's nice." *looks at Bradley* "Am I missing something? Is that a robotic rock?"

Rahim: Will probably find nice pebbles and ask you if you want them to add to the rock's family.

Amari: "Ooo! It's like that Spongebob episode. Can we put it in a race? I can make some cute outfits for it. What did you name it?" Is not listening anymore because she got an idea for a cute outfit with a matching hat. She's gonna want one soon.

Chanara: "I'm going to be amazed when you manage to kill it, aren't I?"

I started Superstition KNOWING season 3 wasn't finished and KNOWING that it was on hiatus due to rewrites AND YET HERE I AM, STILL JAW DROPPED AND WILDLY CLICKING ON WHERE THE "NEXT EPISODE" BUTTON SHOULD BE!!! You are a fantastic writer! Have you been answering questions about what kinds of rewrites you're doing? Sorry if this is an FAQ, I'm just a big fan and am deeply curious!!! :)

There's a post that I made speaking about the purpose of the rewrite but I'm not gonna lie to you, I don't have the willpower to go and search for it. A smarter person would have included it in the pins, but that is not me.

So, unless you got a specific question, long story short is because I need to catch it up to complete S3 without pulling out my hair and fix stuff and might as well add some things I was too scared/worried/on the fence about when I first started writing.

what if the Superstition gang took Roe's place where they're the vessel of Death? How would they take it? Who would resist and who would accept their fate early on?

Chris: Probably killed the world cos he's resisting until his last breath. He's just ... naw.

Sydero: Accepted it. Period. It wouldn't really be any different than what she's doing now. She'll run but deep inside she's accepted that fate.

Rahim: Same for Rahim but he's not running.

Zillah: He's terrified of Death, so it's a toss up. He'd be resisting but not enough to where he doesn't accept it. Pretty much just wants it over with.

Amari: I think she'd resist until someone persuades her that it'll save the planet. The whole "it's fate" thing doesn't work on her, but saving people will have her roll over and accept it.

Chanara: Already accepted it as soon as you told her that it was written in the stars and shit. She ain't about to question and argue Death.

It's the season of gift giving! What's on the wishlist of the Superstition gang and what kind of gifts are they likely to give?

Sydero & Chanara: She's not giving a gift. She doesn't care to receive one either. And while I type this, let me edit it to include Chanara as well. Both of them do not care and will be straight up with you so do not expect one.

Chris: He likes getting the kind of gifts that you have to create yourself, means more to him. As for what he's giving, it's a toss up between already knowing because he remembered you talking about it and not remembering shit so he tries to get you to say it without realizing, or sends in an undercover agent.

Zillah: Horrible at giving gifts. Yes, he's the type to get you something you probably won't like so he can keep it instead. He's way too expensive with his tastes too. If the two of you are seeing one another though, he will 100% buy matching stuff for you.

Rahim: Sees Christmas as ridiculous but will still participate because otherwise he's a scrooge like his sister. He just wants books really, harder to get, the happier he'll be. He's the type to actually flat out ask what you want and get you that, no need for surprises.

Amari: Probably the best gifter. She doesn't care if you didn't want anything, she got you something. She is Santa Claus. She literally writes down things she hears you talk about throughout the year. The thing is, she wants presents too. She actually doesn't care what you give her as long as it seems like you tried, she's happy to be thought about.

How would the superstition RO’s react to being on kiss cam at a sports game at a crushing stage lolol

Chris: Nervous. He gave Roe a peck on the cheek and that's about it. He's acting like he's cheating on his partner with his HR lead over here.

Sydero: Oh, she's about to make this into a Rated R scene, move the camera off of her please.

Zillah: More interested in how they go on the big screen and where the camera is. He has forgotten that Roe is sitting beside him. Fuck kissing, he's on TV.

Rahim: A polite kiss on the lips and nothing more, he's smooth with it too. Got Roe thinking "wait, did I just get kissed" thought process going.

Amari: Way too excited. Kisses all over Roe's face and she's waving at the camera. After she calms down she'll realize what she did and have a proper freak out about it. Might be time to talk about getting out of that crush stage.

Chanara: Starts eating or drinking, she needs to do something with her hands and face to keep her cheeks from heating up. Roe would have to kiss her and it might short circuit her brain for a moment.

I can literally just see him paying no attention, look up to see someone kissing Roe on the gigantic ass screen. He's like: "Hey, Roe, what's going -" Turns and sees this shit go down in real time and bam. Honestly, I think he'll forget where he is and use his powers.
