Jay watched hopelessly as her cat skittered between the feet of the people in the crowd. “Orchid! Come back!” She dashed after the white ball of fur, her feet beating hard on the cement as she dodged between person after person. But, losing her concentration in desperation to catch the cat, she was stopped as she slammed into someone and fell back on her butt. “Oh no...A-Ah, I’m sorry, a-are you okay?”
