There are lots of strong flavors in this Sun Dried Tomato Pizza with Sausage and Roasted Garlic. It's great for pizza night. When you put together sun-dried tomatoes, sausage, and sweet roasted garlic, you get a pizza that will make your mouth water.
Ingredients: 1 pizza dough store-bought or homemade. 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, rehydrated and sliced. 1/2 cup cooked sausage, crumbled. 1/4 cup roasted garlic cloves. 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded. 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 teaspoon dried oregano. Salt and pepper to taste. Fresh basil leaves for garnish.
Instructions: Setting your oven to 475F 245C and putting a pizza stone or baking sheet inside while it heats up. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to the thickness you want. Place the rolled-out dough on a pizza peel or another baking sheet that has been dusted with cornmeal to keep it from sticking. Spread the olive oil out over the pizza dough. Cover the dough with olive oil and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top, leaving a border for the crust. Spread the cooked sausage, sun-dried tomatoes, and roasted garlic cloves out evenly on top of the cheese. Grate the Parmesan cheese and add the dried oregano on top. Add pepper and salt to taste. Carefully move the pizza to a baking sheet or pizza stone that has already been heated in the oven. Put it in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and a little browned. Take the pizza out of the oven and let it cool for one minute before cutting it.
