My mom knows I still ship Zanessa. A while ago, I almost had a breakdown because something reminded me of them, so I asked her why couples who've been together for many years suddenly break up. She said there could be a million reasons why people call it off. (In her opinion, furthering careers or jobs is one of the main causes. Others were pregnancy scare, and commitment issues.) My mother asked blatantly: "Weren't they married?" When I replied, "No, both had said they wouldn't get married until they were like in their 30s or 40s," she seemed very surprised, and, albeit, annoyed. And then, I finally realized she'd actually referred to Rob and Kristen's past relationship, more so than Zanessa's. (Apparently, she assumed they, too, had their wedding during filming of Breaking Dawn). I guess, according to her, all of the cute couples are secretly engaged!
