11/10/01 - Katie: "I'm not taking any of the blame!" Donna: "You nicked it Andy!" Robert: "nobody forced you to get in you bimbo!" (standing up for his brother? after that previous tirade? wow). Katie and Donna continue to blame Andy and Marc, Robert sticks up for them again: "She shouldn't have been out on the road!" Andy "the good son" Sugden wants to call the police. Another car comes and they all panic. Robert: "Well over the wall then, leg it!"
11/10/01 Part 2 - Andy still wants to call the police: "We have to". Robert: "We don't." Marc: "We have to" Robert: "Why?" He gets called a scum bag, there are lots of reasons to call the police. Robert: "Fine Andy! You nicked the car, Marc you drove it. Bye, bye lads, see you in ten years!" Marc breaks down and Andy looks shocked.
11/10/01 Part 3 - Robert: "Nobody saw us nick the car. Nobody saw us drive it this far. Nobody knows it was us who knocked her over. You've been dying to get home Katie. I say lets go." Katie: "Just like that". Robert: "No. Not just like that. We just killed someone. And right now I wish I have never been born" He finally breaks down like the rest and cries. Eva Birch, suggests they burn the car (which they then do).
11/10/01 Part 4 - Andy: "It doesn't get easier Robert. It gets harder. It eats away at you. Then when I seen the car in flames. It reminded me of mum [] Swear to me you're on my side" Robert: "There are no sides this time. There's just us." They hug. It won't last because a few months time and he's proper going to throw Andy under the bus 😂
11/10/01 Part 5 - Later in bed Robert's crying and can't close his eyes. Andy's sleeping in the same room to comfort him. Robert: "Did it feel this bad after when happened with mum? [] I pitty you. I can't help hating you. What have we done? "
