When I first heard this song, like Always In My Head and It Was Always You (download only since Cross Game is copyright protected on YouTube), I just knew I wanted to make an AMV for it and what would work well. Sure, any action anime would work well, but One Piece is not only my favourite but one that fits the lyrics as well. I have no issues with this AMV. It came out better than I could've hoped. But it could still be better. That's how much I strive for perfection. But even then, half the blame lies with the song. I know the song itself is disliked among fans because they don't like Linkin Park's new direction. Even I'm not that pleased with it. But Linkin Park have managed to win me over with some great tunes and if they won you over as well, I hope you like this AMV. Please enjoy.

Update: Incoming

So I promised to have the next AMV out when Linkin Park released their new album a little over 2 weeks ago. Well, I decided to wait 2 weeks in case of any copyright issues. (Also because I had 2 weeks of Uni left...) I also changed the song from my crappy copy to a proper copy of the song and found that changing the song actually altered the timing a bit. But I’ve fixed it up and it’s currently being uploaded. Hey, look on the bright side. 2 weeks isn’t that bad compared to how late I was on other AMV’s. xD

In other news, now that I’m on break, that means more time to work on my next 2 AMV’s; the Kuroko no Basket one and the Fairy Tail one. Hopefully I’ll have one of them done by the time I go back to Uni. (But don’t hold your breath, obviously. :P) Now while the KnB AMV uses a song by Fall Out Boy, the Fairy Tail AMV uses old-school Linkin Park. So I do plan to give them what they want. And I also feel like I should expect a heap of dislikes on my new One Piece AMV for using Linkin Park’s new stuff.....oh well. That’s life, I guess. See ya next time.

Update: In Due Time

I said before that I would work on 2 One Piece AMV's simultaneously, but I decided against that. Originally, since I was making an AMV to a new Linkin Park song, I thought people would dislike it so I'd make another using an earlier song I had an idea for a while back to appease to those fans. But honestly, one One Piece AMV at a time should be more than enough. I have that One Piece AMV ready to go, but since it's using a promotional single for their new album, I won't release it until Linkin Park release the album on May 19th. So that will come in due time.

But it doesn't mean I won't work on another in the mean time. I'm just going through the planning stages atm. I have an idea, though, but I'm not sure how well received it might be. I recently discovered a relatively new band, The Chainsmokers, and I'm absolutely loving them. I can't think of an anime to connect a song with, but if I could do one with manga panels instead, I have an idea. And I say that because the anime adaption of said manga is radically different from the manga. So much so that the author even flip-flopped on a major event that completely changes the course of everything to follow. I'm sure there are some that can figure out what manga and anime adaption I'm talking about (*cough*Fuuka*cough*). Still, it's not something I've done before and something I'm not sure everyone would like.

I still have a few AMV's on hold and I did want to make more action AMV's despite my current mood. I think now I'll finally continue working on that Kuroko no Basket AMV and finish that. But fair warning, I'm in my final year at University, so it may be a slow process. But rest assured, both my One Piece AMV and future AMV's will be done in due time. Also, one more final note. As people seem to be moving away from or not interested in Tumblr, I was thinking of jumping on Patreon. Of course, for free. I don't do this for money or anything like that. Any money options would just be donations and the like. Everything I make is free and will remain that way. So if anyone feels they can help me reach a decision, please do. Should I make Manga Music Videos? Should I jump on Patreon?

What the hell, YouTube!?

So going through my videos, I've been wondering why my Fullmetal Alchemist AMV that already uses Linkin Park hasn't been getting any likes or even views. Turns out I never noticed it was MUTED. Wtf? O_o I've filed a dispute to get to the root of the problem, but I'm not happy. I'm still going to make and share Linkin Park AMV's. But seriously, what the hell YouTube!?

First off, I want to apologise to the sub elitists/dub haters. I’ve got no problem with your views, I agree that the original is always best, but I tried to get a subbed version for this but couldn’t get any. So dubbed it is. This is an idea I had years ago. When I first heard the song (that's how long I've had the idea for), I thought Toradora was a perfect fit for it. But I only started the AMV roughly 6 months months ago. Yeah, that's how long I've been working on it. Trying to get some of it to match up perfectly has been a real challenge since at least half of the scenes used aren't long enough and I've had to add more in and make sure one or the other isn't too long or too short. But it's done. It may not be perfect, but it's a close to perfection as I can make it. Please enjoy.

Update: When Inspiration Strikes...

Before I say anything else, the Toradora AMV is finally done. I'm uploading it atm and will post it once it's done. Honestly, I've spent the better half of the last 2 weeks playing my brand new Switch and what is probably the greatest game ever, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. But I'm not going to talk about that. That's for my gaming channel. It's just playing that is why the AMV took so long since the last update.

Interestingly, while Zelda and a new song from my favourite band Linkin Park are getting slammed by a certain section of the Internet and there are arguments surrounding them, I'm loving both of them and have fulfilled a mini-Life Goal (I'd always thought jeans and a black t-shirt looked cool, wanted to try it out at least once and wore jeans for the first time ever the other day). So I've been feeling pretty good about myself lately and had to do something creative. Not to mention, I can imagine the new Linkin Park song in an AMV and am going to start working on that along with my next One Piece AMV simultaneously. There is a reason for that which I'll explain when they're done. It might take a while, but when inspiration strikes, I can get weeks of work done in hours. So we'll just have to see how far I can get while in such a good mood. xD

Update: Slowing Down, but Not Giving Up!

It's been 4 months since I promised an AMV and still haven't delivered on it. I don't know if I should be happy or sad hardly anyone follows me to give me shit for it. But to those that do pay attention, yes more shit has gone down. Of all things, my 3DS no longer recognises the MicroSD card so I've lost most of my 3DS data and have to spend money I don't have on either a new MicroSD card or a new 3DS, which sucks major balls since my current 3DS is a Zelda 25th Anniversary Edition. But I haven't just been feeling sorry for myself or lazy. I've been working hard on my other YouTube channel with the Switch coming soon, hence this most recent delay.

This update is to say that my other YouTube channel may take priority from here on out, but I'm not going to stop doing AMV's. The Toradora AMV is close to completion and expect a Kuroko no Basket AMV and a 2nd One Piece AMV sometime this year. I don't know what else I'll be working on or when they'll release, but I do also have a Fairy Tail, 2nd Naruto and possible 3rd One Piece AMV's planned and I'm looking for a song that fits well with My Hero Academia. Look forward to them. ;)

2017 Is Here!

I know I'm a bit late, but Happy New Year everyone! I had a crappy 2016 and even a pretty bad New Year's Eve, but hopefully things will improve from here. I'm back into AMV making, currently experimenting with things to improve my methods (hopefully), and will make sure to get the Toradora AMV done ASAP. I'm aiming for within the next week, but no guarantees. After the Toradora AMV is done, though, I will be focusing on action AMV's. Kuroko no Basket, Fairy Tail and definitely my next One Piece AMV. And with the next season of My Hero Academia and Attack on Titan in April, too, I might make AMV's for them soon as well. I've had an idea for an Attack on Titan AMV for a while now, after all. ;)
