Put "📓" or some other version of a book emoji into my inbox and I'll explain the plot of a fanfiction that I haven't written but daydream about.

OK, this was an idea at least inspired by Deltarune (or, what I know about it, to be honest. I still haven't experienced any of the game for myself...)

I'm not normally a fan of meta narratives (I struggle not to find them immersion shattering) but angst can sometimes be an exception to that rule for me, at least.

This idea is very meta. Basically, Frisk isn't in control - the Player is.

But instead of doing a Genocide Run, the Player does a Pacifist playthrough.

Everyone calls Frisk their saviour, but can Frisk even accept the praise when they weren't the one in control, even if it is what they would have done?

Basically, a lot of existential confusion and imposter syndrome for poor Frisk. Even though the monsters got their happy ending, Frisk is left feeling like they don't deserve the credit, because it wasn't actually them that saved anyone.

Uh,,,, I guess a idea that i've been daydreaming and rotating about is what would happen if one of the bad sanses sees a human that remind them of their own experience? Like if horrortale sans saw a human starving for example and end up taking them in under his wing and bonding with them then starting to care and love the human overtime and then as they interact with the others they bond with and learn to care and love for them as well.
