Chain Episode 2
“Only I can’t find out how they’re paying for it. Can’t find out how they’re buying the bloody postage stamps.”
A cautious people? I’ll have to take your word for that, Robert Mcrae.
But a Beautifully Suffering man? Yeah, on that you can take MY word for definite!
See, Chain isn’t just about The Hair and The Glare. No, sometimes instead Robert stands in front of the window of his hotel room in the early evening light in his tucked in tee shirt being melancholy and cynical and generally an all around Suffering Man and you know what? I’m totally okay with that.
Especially since it fits into one of my favorite color schemes with the contrast between the blue and the black.

You know, I even got the book version of Chain to see if it makes more sense than the tv version (spoiler alert: NOPE); but ultimately I’ve decided that actual sense-making is not just unnecessary but actually completely-beside-the-point because, well, why am I even looking for anything else when I’m getting The Hair AND The Glare?
Chain was a project so obscure it wasn’t even on Peter’s IMDB page until after it showed up out-of-the-blue on Youtube a couple of years ago. And yet, now I can’t see the words Serious Fraud without immediately picturing Robert McRae and his Serious Hair.
