Rush didn’t know anything about this town he now found himself in. Aside from having a place to stay and the few bits of information he had been given, he was still getting his sea legs, so to speak. The most perplexing thing, for him, was the simple fact that he had somehow ended up on an entirely new planet after already getting taken from his mission once already!
Honestly, did he have some kind of aura about him that screamed ‘kidnap me’? It wasn’t like it had been rare even when he had been back in his own dimension.
Sighing heavily, the irritated mathematician made his way down the streets, not really sure where he was or what district he was in. Or, in fact, that there were districts at all, to be perfectly honest.
He was very new.
The man looked down at the cellphone in his hand, fiddling with it. This little gift was another thing he felt like he was getting used to see- did every planet have some kind of complimentary communication device? It was a perplexing thought that was thoroughly keeping him from paying attention to where he was walking.

“Hey, I’m so sorry, but can you give me a hand?” She’s a bit overloaded with boxes, juggling this that and the other thing. It’s mainly groceries, considering that Anda, despite not living there, likes to cook. So, she tries her best to keep the place in line, despite her repetitive food choices. “I’m sorry to distract you, but the door. I can’t get it with my foot.”
Laughing nervously, Miriam leans up against the wall, balancing a paper bag of cans on her waist. “I’ll owe you one.”
