In 2024 a youtuber called ROBIN Z uploaded a you didn't know animatic where the character's roles were swapped (Adam as Charlie and viceversa, Lute as Vaggie and viceversa, etc). I was absolutely obsessed with that animatic for a while because imo the story makes much more sense that way: The first man Adam loving all his children (humanity) to the point of wanting the sinners to redeem and live in Heaven with him, while Charlie Is a sadistic nepobaby who likes to torture sinners just for fun.
I love Robin Z’s Hazbin Hotel AU despite not knowing the whole story and lore. I only know the basics like you mentioned it being a swap AU where Adam is the one who runs the hotel while Charlie is a sadist nepo baby who got into Heaven somehow.
The thing that peaked my interest the most is Adam’s relationship with Lilith in the AU. She tries to be genuine by winning Adam over using gifts but comes off as superficial and try hard. The two both have their baggage and near the end of “Hell’s Greatest Dad Swap” Adam feels hesitant to trust or let her in. But Lilith does want to make things right.
That aside, realistically Adam doing the hotel makes more sense. But I do still like Vivziepop’s idea of the princess of Hell attempting to get sinners into Heaven. It does show that Vivziepop does like being subversive.
