My favourite doughnut is the Ghostbuster from Robin's Donuts (and from Grand Donut, which used to be a Robin's). The Ghostbuster donut is filled with sweetened whipped cream and dipped in chocolate fondant.

My favourite way to eat them is to pick the chocolate fondant off, then slice the donut in half equatorially, and eat each half like it's an open-faced sandwich.

For some reason, donuts came up in conversation with my psychologist, so I told him about this.

"Technically," he said, "this isn't in the diagnostic criteria for Antisocial Personality Disorder, but maybe it should be."

Well then.

Addendum: my psychologist has a sense of humour and we have a great relationship.
