Hi. I saw loads of these larvae in a tree. They were about 15mm long but varied a bit. I think it might be an alder leaf beetle larvae? Correct me if I'm wrong. I also saw loads of these tube shaped webs in a wall. Couldn't see any actual spiders, but I loved the webs. (both in the UK)
Very tidy webs! Good for them. And yes, the larva looks like an alder leaf beetle :)
