him being so mad at them killing Maria that he decided to team up with GRANDPA ROBOTNIK to destroy the world bc peepaw had him believing it’s what Maria would have wanted

also Tom getting hurt which caused sonic to get the emerald back to get revenge bc like shadow just hurt his father figure

it was corny as hell tho like me and my friend were looking at each other like “wtf was that” for most of the movie
