Took me a while to finish this film bc I started it before I left to central america and I havn't had time to pick up on it and plus im kinda strange and i need to be in a certain mood to finish films :/ BUT this was an interesting "underdog" plot ^^ However it's nice that it was about a robot competition rather than a contact sport as usual.

Its def more on the quiet side and there isnt much dialouge but I liked that about this film since it kinda let you pay more attention to actions and efforts to succeed in the competition. there is plently if not subtle character development which Im kinda obsessed with woops. The group starts off as a struggling club which a girl enters bc she needs class credit but along the way she gains alot of passion for the sport and other members who cowarded behind a textbook or werent friendly and willing to work in team effort rlly stepped up ^^ I think i prefer these character changes as opposed to many action sequences so I personally did enjoy this film but since it's pretty slow and it literally is all about a robot competition I can see why it would nto be a film for most ppl ^^ 

Plus I found out about it bc of Shun Oguri so if anything failed at least I would have a young Shun Oguri to stare at 8)

Oh. OHHHHHH. Hahahahahaha.

Nice flamethrower out of nowhere. That seems pretty useful! Hopefully it actually works.

So, it seems like they can change their looks to the extent that a human becomes a robot thing. Unless smiling guy somehow turned into a robot thing in real life? Yeah, probably not.

And we see that Cornelius does magic (or something similar) and Manly has super strength. Surprise, surprise. And what "flesh wound" is Manly referring to in the second panel? As far as I can tell, no one is missing any limbs or anything.

Also, I love the monster's dialogue. It's just great.

Ahh, the dawning realization, and with it, the newly uncovered hilarity. Truly a wonderful sensation.

I like how Cornelius's method of summoning three spiders is saying "Three spiders." It's refereshingly straightforward, y'know?

Yeah, the monster's dialogue is great, isn't it? It just doesn't fit at all. Well, it does generally relate to the surrounding events (in this case, bugs), but it doesn't fit the mood or really apply to the circumstances in a way that makes sense. It's surreal without just being random, I guess.

Page 14: Involuntary reflex.

"Well, we’re beyond $7000 now! We only need $2628 to go."

So what I'm getting from this is that their goal was above a certain value. Did they surpass that amount? That would certainly be impressive!

Anyway. So. Kafka summoned that flamethrower somehow, and that's his "power", I guess? Interesting. (Calling him Robo-K doesn't make as much sense now that I know he's actually a human. Oh well.)

Oh, cool, Cornelius can fly, or something. And Manly is indeed punching it in the face. Hahaha.

Where do you even get popcorn in a place like this? I guess we'll see, eh? Unless it was just a throwaway joke, or next page they just have some and we don't actually see Ezekiel going and getting it. But neither of those seem very likely, so I think we're good.

Pfff, you can call humans "Robo-K". I mean, (rob)OK, calling more than one that could get confusing, but who cares, when you've got a name like "Robo-K"?

Wait, oh man, I just came up with the best name for myself: RoBokon. Actually, it would work even better for, like, a robotic evil twin or something. Man, I should get a robotic evil twin so I can call him RoBokon. Anyone know how to get a robotic evil twin? Or a robotic evil alternate-timeline duplicate or something, I'm not picky.

Come on, Past Nokob, didn't you notice Cornelius flying on this page, or this one? Get on the ball, man. (Yeah, I just noticed the first one while looking back to see if there was one before that other one, and I just noticed the other one when I made my last post. Plus I didn't notice him on this page this time around. But shhhh, Past Nokob doesn't know that.)

(Oh man, what if Past Nokob found out about it and it led him to a path of evil, then he was nearly killed in a horrible accident and ended up in a robotic body because evil geniuses can do that sort of thing, and then discovered time travel, allowing him to travel to the current point in time and become my robotic evil alternate-timeline duplicate, or, shall I say, RoBokon!? Yes, wow, I am such a genius (thus why my alternate timeline self is an evil genius, of course).)

That is sarcasm in Past Nokob's last sentence here, right? It's oddly hard to tell. Pretty sure it's supposed to be sarcasm, though. (Also, come on, you get popcorn from Kafka, how hard is that. You just have to… remind him of some time he had popcorn or something, I don't know.)

Haha, he is, isn't he? Like a child with an Official Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle.

Man, I really should have said "more than" instead of "over" in that second sentence. This way, if you read the "$9628" as "nine thousand, six hundred (and) twenty-eight dollars" (rather than "ninety-six twenty-eight dollars"), you end up with "over nine-thousand" in there, which just ruins it. An Over 9000 joke with "Over 9000" in it? Really? Who ever heard of that?

So just make sure to read it as "ninety-six twenty-eight dollars"; I didn't include a comma or anything, so that helps.
