Hello again! In the meantime of taking my sweet time on getting around to these, I started another webcomic called Punchline! So far I’m having fun doing it and I’ll post a link to the webcomic site as soon as I start it up. As of yet I haven’t put it fully online yet except for those on my facebook.
This strip I did a little differently. I’m settled in the sizing of these now in these double formats, and I guess a part of me just decided to tell the story I’d like to read. While I tried to stick with something funny, or silly, I also threw in a little heart.
For those in the know of Robotech, upon being introduced to Lisa, Rick was not a nice fellow about saying hello. Instead he wondered who the nagging “old sourpuss” was. I like the idea that although Rick and Lisa are likely going to be at some sort of odds for the rest of their days, they have this playfulness, and this just seems like something, at least from my own personal life, that they might get around to joking with.
So, with strip 14 here I have the next couple written out and that ends the first small opening arc. Continuing on after that starts the build of the action talked about in the past few strips. So I’m looking forward to getting into less talking and more doing.
