This official art of Postal Dude has been interesting to me

Because on the surface it seems like a dark representation of The Dude, which kind of fits the "demonic in your head" kind of vibe the original game was going for, but when in a different filter and inverted colors..

We see a completely different man. He hides in the corner, clinging to his weapon and himself, his face almost seeming to hide tears with his eyes snapped shut. This isn't a dangerous criminal that needs to be put down, this is a tortured soul that is clearly controlled by something beyond his own power and something far worse.
