Furby becomes aware
Some cliche horror plot with an original backstory? When I was 10 or so, I used to browse furby videos on the web and found people used to (and probably still do) circuit bend furbies either for experimental purposes or just to destroy them out of anger. Just a funny horror idea of the furby became sentient. i do not own the slightly modified furby manual.
My parents discovered that the pink Robopet I found in a garage sale a few years ago had bits of mold in its joints, impossible to thoroughly clean. Fortunately, they bought me a replacement because I really liked the toy! 🌈
Although not the same awesome pink color, this white Robotpet was MIB and avaliable on eBay for less than its retail $50 in 2005. The packaging is in excellent shape (was hard AF to completely free/open the toy), and it was fascinating to see the two mark-down stickers...
I imagine eventual poor sales essentially sent Robopet to live on a farm, huh? 😂
20 years is practically an eternity in toy tech, especially when it comes to voice recognition!
