A robot in your social image
BBH Labs has just churned out Robotify.me, an experiment in "building" robots that reflect something about your social behaviour. From Mel Exon, brainchild of Robotify.me and managing partner/founder of BBH Labs:
Your robot is a mirror version of your online social self. Robotify.me currently gathers data from Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare based on your social activity, including how much you comment or RT. In the near future we'd like to add Instagram, G+ and Pinterest. Check out the Roboguide on the site for a few hints about your robot.
That's me above. Each element, from the choice of ears, to waist and hand shape, to jetpack feetery, is meant to represent something about your social behaviour. The robo-guide is here, but we weren't able to piece everything out. Would be cool if your "specs" were included on the same page as your completed robot ... especially given how much time it takes to make it. (Okay, we waited 5 or 6 minutes, but that's like FOREVER! in internet time.)
Still fun, though! Beats another Mad Men-inspired avatar.
Via.
