Pokemon Card of the Day #1765: Rock Guard (Plasma Freeze)

Rock Guard was a general-purpose sort of Ace Spec that you could attach to a Pokemon. When that Pokemon was your Active Pokemon and was damaged by an opponent’s attack, 6 damage counters were put on the Attacking Pokemon. Very bulky Pokemon made the best use of this due to their ability to take multiple hits. While good, Rock Guard also had the same problem as so many other Ace Spec cards in that it prevented you from using something like Dowsing Machine or Computer Search. The card was also very vulnerable to Tool Scrapper. It was rarely seen due to this despite being somewhat useful.
