Hey now. Save me a set at da usual table. I'll be at the die-ner lickety split.
“I don’t think either of us have much to worry about. By now everyone at the diner knows to leave our table be. If not, it shouldn’t take them too long to learn.”

😍 "So whatcha gonna do about it?"
“Ha, you don’t seriously still follow those traditions, do you?” Still, the effort taken to get the mistletoe above him was quite impressive. He was already tall, but with the added inches from levitating, getting the plant above him took quite the effort. “You could have just asked. I wouldn’t have said no.”

♫ Johnny had absolutely no interest in being associated with Operetta in any way when they first met. He was intending to intimidate her out of the catacombs and keep them as an isolated place for himself, but after seeing how she was independent and would stand up for herself for their shared love of music, he grew interested in her. Hearing her play and how their music melded together only intensified those feelings. ♫ Operetta was the first relationship he had in thousands of years. Friendship and romantic wise. ♫ Because of her, he started to open up and be more friendly with other monsters. Things like helping Deuce wasn’t even an option back during his detention. She showed him how to still be independent while caring for others. ♫ He very much has a nonverbal and nonphysical love language. Rarely he will pass out compliments or other words to indicate how he feels about her. Instead, he often will listen to her day or her music, give light touches to her back in public to send a message to others, or gift her small things like flowers and necklaces. Other Headcanons we Already Share bc They’re Cute ♫ Johnny and Operetta never officially got together or asked the other out, it was something silently agreed upon between the two after a long time of silent flirting. ♫ Johnny is fully aware Operetta can hold her own in any situation, it’s one of the many reasons he respects her. However, he is extremely protective of her and silently makes it very well known that the two are together. ♫ They have their own table at the Die-ner that they make a point of protecting. It gives the best view of the restaurant and is within a short distance of the jukebox. Luckily, most of the waitresses are aware of and respect their ownership of 1/16th of the resturaunt.

“I pity the poor lil’ ol’ soul keepin’ it warm if they an’t warned or an’t carin’.” The two always seem to be fixtures at their normal after-school fang out. It helps that she knew a ghoul on staff to make sure it’s clear for their arrival.
“I think the monsters in here have really smartened up. After a little talk the last trouble we had won’t even come into the diner. How considerate of them.” Though Draculaura seemed to provide them with more efficient, less violent means. “I’ll get your usual ordered so it’s ready for you. Take as long as you need.”
"Hey." The phantom slides her way into the booth of the 24hr Diener that seems to NEVER close.... even on a howliday. "You didn't expect me ta getcha somethin' rite? Cause I didn't. Been so wraped in that recordin' with Holt that I plum forgot ta do any shoppin'. At all."
“Of course not, Cryptmas is a stupid howliday anyways.” It was one of the things he didn’t mind about his detention, no having to listen to obnoxious students scream carols or jingle bells in the hallways. “I got something for you. Not for the howliday or anything, I just thought you might like them. Here.”
