Maybelline New Rocket Volume Mascara

As I am a huge fan of Maybelline's Falsies Mascara I was excited to try out their new Rocket Volume Mascara and compare it against that and other favourites of mine. The Rocket mascara wand is slim and features tiny little rubber bristles as opposed to the synthetic bristles featured on the Falsies mascara wand. The bristles hold enough product to coat the top lashes of one eye thoroughly and because the bristles are so small they really seperate out the individual lashes and make each eyelash stand out. In terms of volume I didn't really find that my lashes were as full as when using a mascara such as Dior Blackout or YSL's False Lash Effect mascaras but I was happy with how separated and enhanced each lash appeared around my eye. I also found this wand very manageable on my lower lashes applying the toght amount of product where some of the larger wands overpower the little lashes and apply too much product. Overall I liked this mascara and for less than £10 (approx £7.99) it is a good buy if you're after a mascara that separates and enhances lashes. Although if you're really after a volume boost I prefer several costs of the Falsies/YSL/Dior.
